The biggest pro about gel nails is that they can last a long time, up to 2/3 weeks if properly cared for, they are also less likely to chip as much as traditional nail polish. Soft gel polish cannot be used to extend the clients nails, however, can be used over the top of acrylic or hard gel if you wanted to extend the clients nails. Gel nails do not damage the clients nails if applied correctly and removed correctly.
